According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in today's airtight buildings the indoor air can be over 10 times
more polluted than outdoor air. Leading health officials believe the alarming increase in allergies, asthma and other
respiratory aliments, unfortunately prevalent in the young and the elderly, are caused by our polluted indoor air.
CIMATEC has a significant and on-going investment in a state of the art Research & Development Facility, featuring an
ASHRAE compliant 72 foot long closed loop wind tunnel, a clean room and acoustics chamber, among others.
As a world leader in Electronic Polarization Technologies (EPT) we employ our patented technology in our air cleaners to
capture the critical submicron (particles less than 1/25,000th of an inch) air borne pollutants from the air in homes, office
towers and commercial buildings. These contaminants include molds, bacteria, virus, lung damaging dust, household
chemicals and smoke.
