The Wind Tunnel:
This essential component of the Cimatec Environmental Engineering
"Research and Development" facility is a 72ft long closed-loop
system. It is comprised of an aerosol generator, aerosol neutralizer,
particle counter, dust loader, high voltage power supply and two
banks of Airscreen 2300 air cleaners with HEPA aircleaners.

The wind tunnel was designed specifically for Indoor Air Quality Research. Our unique facilities and testing equipment establish us
an industry leader in the I.A.Q. field.

The Filter Bank:
The filter bank is 16sq ft duct simulation with a standardmotor/blower
combination. The filter bank uses a constant flow tunnel system
(15ft overall length).

The Clean Room:
The clean room is a test room with a hard reflecting floor. All other
surfaces of the room absorb all sound energy over a specific frequency
range. (A.K.A a hemi-anechoic room). This space was created using a
concrete floor and 8 inch thick walls and ceiling.

This room also contains a roof-mounted re-circulating fan. This room
was built to specific standards in order for the test results to be accurate and comparable within existing rating scales in the I.A.Q industry.
